Diptol turned to his chalkboard and wrote:

Take out "A Intermediate Wizard's Guide to Defense"

Scorpius took out his book.

Rose took out her book.

Scorpius flipped through his book.

Diptol opened his own copy, and asked Rose "Who was Peter the Great, and which jinx did he invent?"

OoC: Say anything, and it'll be right.

Scorpius looked at Rose.

Scorpius smiled.

"He was a well celebrated man, almost a king!" Diptol said, with great relish. "And yes, he did invent that little home security jinx"

Rose smiled relieved.

Scorpis raised his hand "What is the origin of wizards?"

Diptol looked smug, as if knowing this was the greatest thing in the world. "The origin of wizards came from back before the Ancient Egyptians, my friend. Nobody truly knows, but the most accomplished wizards believe we began when the first Ice Age ended. We started out as little more than cavemen, maybe even eskimos. Yet we had magic, which was different from all the other cavemen"

Rose looked at him.

Diptol shrugged. "Travel purposes. I'm sure it was difficult to swiing your staff around so magnificently, unlike when you have a small twig for a magic source"

Diptol looked shocked. "Many people have argued that. I would say Dumbledore. He was my hero when I was a boy"

Rose smiled.

Scorpius smiled. "Lets start class,Professor."

Diptol shook his head as though to clear it. "Yes, let's begin. I want all of you to find and write down all of the spells you see in CHapter 1, and then we will go over them. And you must read the whole chapter, otherwise you will not get all the spells" he added, noticing somebody in the back start to skim over the page.

Scorpius started readign chapter 1 and writing down spells.

Rose read at a pace of a page per minute, writing down spells along the way.

Scorpius than finished waiting for the professor. "Wow. These are some cool charms!"

Rose nodded.
