After the Opening Feast

Lily walked with Hugo after the prefect and entered the common room. It was hard not to smile at how cozy it looked.

James appeared behind them. "Hello." He said laughing.

Lily ignored her older brother and went up to see her dormitory.

James laughed. "What not enjoying Hogwarts?"

Lily kept walking up the stairs. Hugo turned to his 5th year cousin and said "She's just tired, ok? Leave her alone!"

"Why don't you?" He said to Hugo.

Hugo's ears went red, not unlike his father's. He turned and stomped up the stiars, as though he was back at home, throwing a tantrum.

James watched him leave. "What a baby."

Lily came back down later, not having been able to sleep. She sat in the chair her father had so often occupied in his days at Hogwarts.

Victoire grabbed her book and sat on the couch, reading.

Lily saw Victoire out of the corner of her eye, but didn't acknowledge she was there.

Victoire looked at the fire, feeling warmer. How come no one talks to me? she thought.

lily fell asleep, gazing into the flames. She dreamt that Hugo was really big and was chasing her and James. SHe ran for her life, but Hugo now had a giant rubber chicken. Suddenly, she could hear the voice again, booming loudly. Except the words, were different somehow.. "You're Doomed. Watch your back, young Potter". She woke with shout.

Victoire looked at Lily. She was moving around. Victoire shook her lightly. "Hey, are you okay?"

Lily looked up at Victoire. "I-I'm not sure" she muttered. "I'm gonna go to bed now". She got up and left, and didn't have any more dreams.

Victoire sighed. She started staring at the fire.

*Walks in with another first year from a diffrent house trying not to let anyone notice that he is not soposed to be there* "Come on!" *she mumbles under her breath just loud enough so he could hear her*

Lily had decided she would wait up for Roxane, even though Roxane should already be there.

Victoire heard something that broke her thoughts and she looked at Roxane. She just turned back at the fire.

*walks casually upstairs, with him following her*

Lily thought Roxane was taking too long, so she got up and opened the door. Roxane was there with a boy. "Roxane?" Lily asked, hoping it wasn't her cousin right there. "Who's this?"

*Smiles weakley*Well...... she starts this is my new boy-friend.

James had been walking in the hall. He smiled. "Well, well, well."

Victoire went to go to the dormitory and she wondered what was going on, but then, she knew she'd never find out.
